Matt: I'm Matt and I'm been climbing for the best part of 10 years. This blog is just a record of what I get up to. It's written for me, as much as it is for anyone else. Dangling around on the end of a rope is normally where I'm happiest (well hopefully not dangling if I'm climbing). This kind of attitude leads me to climb all over England, Wales and Scotland but also in the alps occasionally. Being on the end of a rope also means I spend a fair bit of time underground caving as well, but seems to be mostly confined to the peak district. I work in outdoor education, whilst training to be a tree surgeon and something to do with roped access work. Sadly, I need a job to keep climbing and caving so I might as well do a job I like.
